Celebrate Black History Month at the Museum as we honor Black history and culture through art, creative expression, and spoken word. Engage with local artists, support artist vendors, and take part in live demonstrations and hands-on activities. Highlights include a chalk mural demonstration by Marcella Swett; soul food-inspired art portraits with artist Duan Kellum of Creative Ground; and a special spoken word performance by James Coats, followed by an open mic session for participating poets.
