Studio Saturdays: Metal Nicho Remembrance with Love with Joy Art Club

In honor of Día de los Muertos, take the afternoon to remember a loved one in this workshop with artist Cynthia Huerta, founder of Love with Joy Art Club. Using foil, participants will create and decorate a metal nicho (shadowbox) to house a photo of a loved one who has passed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own photograph, no larger than 4” x 6”. Love with Joy Art Club is a project that aims to support free, accessible and inclusive art workshops for marginalized communities. This program begins promptly at the stated time. Please plan to attend the full duration of the program. Space is limited.
