Día de los Muertos: Celebrating Artistic Journeys highlights contemporary artists who actively redefine the holiday using traditional symbols and imagery to express their connection to Día de los Muertos.  

Under the theme Celebrating Artistic Journeys, the exhibition emphasizes how the holiday shapes each artist’s journey, exploring life, identity, and transformation. These creators preserve a timeless tradition while contributing fresh storytelling marked by resilience and innovation.  

Día de los Muertos: Celebrating Artistic Journeys invites audiences to engage with a vibrant, contemporary vision of progress and legacy. Through the fusion of traditions and identities, artists express remembrance, resilience, and renewal, enriching the evolving interpretation of Día de los Muertos. 

Featured artists include: Alfonso Aceves (Kalli Arte Collective), Saul Aguilera, Lisa Cabrera, Frank Carrillo, Jessica Cruz, Patricia Jessup-Woodlin, Heriberto Luna, Riea Owens, Marylucille Nuñez, David Palacios, Theresa Polley-Shellcroft, and David Rosales.
