The Museum honors Día de los Muertos through its 28th annual exhibition. Each year, the community celebrates the holiday with community-built ofrendas—traditional altars, handcrafted and adorned with marigolds, photographs, candles, favorite foods, and personal mementos to welcome the spirits and celebrate their memory. The ofrendas create sacred thresholds between the living and those who have passed. Each one tells a story of love, loss, and remembrance. This year’s exhibition features ofrendas by artists, city departments, local community groups, and schools, united by the belief that the departed are never truly gone, only absent. We invite everyone to join us in reflecting and remembering.
