The Gem of the Foothills exhibition offers a compelling look at the people and events that shaped Ontario’s vibrant heritage, tracing its development from the indigenous Tongva people to the arrival of Californio Rancheros, and the Chaffey brothers. Learn how the City’s landscape and community have evolved, from the rise of the citrus and grape industries to how the airport became a crucial logistical hub for the Inland Empire. Discover why Ontario is called the “Gem of the Foothills.”
